High Quality Kids Bedding Empowers Sleep

Affordable high quality kids bedding empowers sound sleep
Did you know Tucked+Covered’s affordable, high-quality kids’ bedding empowers a healthy night’s rest for the whole family?   It’s true:)  We start by sourcing premium fabrics for optimal performance and comfort.  Then, we test the materials to ensure we are giving you the very best.
There are so many bedding options; it’s easy to lose sight of the most critical factors.

So, to provide your family with the very best, our friends at the National Sleep Foundation share a few things to consider when purchasing bed linens:

Breathable Thread Count

Did you know the higher the thread count, the tighter the weave?  So, to ensure your comfort, shop for sheet sets with a thread count between 200-400. With this weave, your linens are super smooth, and air can flow through the material, allowing your body to breathe and rest comfortably.  Although a thread count above 400 has a soft reputation, the air-tight weave often causes overheating, ultimately creating a restless night’s sleep.

Sleep Friendly Fabrics
Not only is it essential to choose a breathable thread count, but it’s also crucial to choose a  fabric that breathes. When shopping, choose 100% cotton, linen, or bamboo sheets for optimal sleep.  If the bedding description says  ” Cotton Rich,” read further.  This typically means cotton and polyester blends have 60% cotton and 40% polyester, hence the phrase choice “Cotton Rich.”
Touch Test

While shopping in stores, there are often fabric samples to feel.  Trust your senses.  If the quality feels questionable, it is.  Read the label to discover the actual fabric content and thread count.  Some companies engage in clever wordplay to trick the customer into purchasing a lower quality fabric, creating a win for the company and losing you.

Laundry Care

Although fabric softener creates a cozy finish, its chemicals often break down the integrity of the fabric.  Washing and drying at high temperatures also compromise the fabric composition.  To avoid hurried, high heat cleaning for bedding changes, keep two sets of bed linens on hand.  Most if not all care labels advise washing and drying at warm temperatures.  Experts also recommend changing your sheets once a week for optimal hygiene.

Aesthetics vs. Comfort

It’s easy to overlook affordable, high-quality kids’ bedding when you see your child’s favorite cartoon character printed on a bedding set.   Sure, the aesthetics may be pleasing, but children often wake up with these itchy poly-blend fabrics when they sleep.  Comfort is key to a good night’s rest.  T+C’s affordable sheet sets flow with your child during their slumber, keeping them comfy, covered, and sound asleep night after night.

At Tucked Covered, our mission is better to sleep for the whole family.

Give us a try for 30 nights or naps and sleep the difference.  We’ve spent countless hours designing the perfect sheet sets for your little stargazer.  Because we know when your kids sleep, then you sleep.  It’s that simple:)
