High Quality Kids Bedding is Simply Cotton

High quality kids bedding doesn't have to break the bank, but it's best if it's cotton:)
 High-Quality Kids Bedding doesn’t have to break the bank, but it’s best if it’s cotton. Just like you, kids can feel the difference between pure cotton and blended poly fabrics.  If your kiddos are anything like mine, they are super sensitive to uncomfortable materials, seam ridges in their socks, and scratchy tags in their clothing.  So, when it comes to their sleep, pure cotton is a must:)
Here’s why parents everywhere are saying  YES to cotton sheets:
*Natural Ventilation

Funny how nature provides us with what we need.  Human-made fabrics don’t work like Mother Nature’s cotton🙂 As we sleep, our temperature rises.  So, it’s vital that our bed coverings, just like us, inhale and exhale. Otherwise, with breathless fabric, we awake disturbed, restless and sweaty!   The beauty of cotton is its ability to adapt to the seasons.  In the warmer months, this brilliant fabric absorbs heat and moisture, keeping us cool as it breathes.  And, in the cooler months, its magnificence absorbs and retains our body heat to keep us warm, all the while providing a natural ventilation system.

Fun Fact

T+C’s button design adds a soft, refreshing airflow between the sheets as your child moves in their sleep.  Only the best for our peeps;)

*Hypoallergenic

I don’t know about you, but I love jumping into my bed with freshly cleaned cotton sheets!  The refreshing crisp smell and soft, soothing texture is simply a little slice of heaven 🙂 Not only is the feel of cotton super soft on your skin, but it’s also hypoallergenic.  So why not choose cotton?  I mean, if we can avoid unnecessary itchiness or irritation, let’s do it:):)

* Long Lasting Quality

As most of us have experienced, we get what we pay for, so why not pay a little more and get the best!  So, although our mind may tell us high-quality kids’ bedding is costly, it’s not true. Look how marketing tries to trick us into buying lower quality for a few dollars less:

Imagine you are shopping, and you see these two competing brands ( these examples are actually on the market today):

* Ultra Soft 600 Thread Count Deep Pocket Cotton Blend Sheet Set ~ 3 piece Twin Sheet Set~$37.99
* Comfy Cotton 3 piece Twin Sheet Set ~ 200 Thread Count ~  Fit mattresses up to 16 ” deep – $49.99

Boy, oh boy, are these profit-driven companies clever. With a seductive product description, the customer often gets confused about what they’re buying.  Which one stands out to you as the Best Buy?

If I read carefully and think about it, which often doesn’t happen because I am crazy busy, I would see the second choice is a better buy because it’s 100% cotton, not a cotton blend.  Remember, don’t get smitten by the high thread count.  A high thread count does not improve the fabric’s quality; it just tightens the fabric weave.  And a tighter weave restricts the airflow, making our bodies overheat as we sleep. Yep. Even though the above example’s 600 thread count boasts about being the softest, the pure cotton sheet set will prove to be long lasting quality, soothings our bodies with smooth, flowing fabric breath:)

Easy Care

Today,  an easy-care finish creates wrinkle-free high-quality kids bedding, so no ironing needed:) For optimum cleanliness, health experts recommend washing sheets on warm water weekly,  independent of another laundry.   To preserve fabric quality and avoid color fading, set the dryer on low.  Of course, if you have an outdoor clothesline, let nature do the drying until lightly damp.  Then, toss the sheets in the dryer on low for a wrinkle-free look:).

At Tucked+Covered, our mission is better sleep for the whole family.

That’s why our high-quality sheet sets are made of pure cotton fabric and reasonably priced for all to enjoy.  We know firsthand how demanding parenting responsibilities are daily.  So, we want to do our part to help:)  Yep.  Our design nurtures your child’s sleep so you, too, can get the rest you need:). After all, we know when your kids’ sleep, then you sleep.  It’s that simple:)
